Base Salary
$180k - $250k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build E2B’s backend and core infrastructure
- Work with VM hypervisors and Linux systems
- Build and optimize runtimes and sandboxes for LLMs
- Develop networking solutions for secure, isolated environments
- Monitor resources and optimize sandbox performance
- Solve infrastructure challenges at scale
- Work with orchestration technologies
- Collaborate closely with Distributed Systems Engineers
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience building infrastructure, especially distributed systems
- At least 5 years of Linux administration experience
- Knowledge of Linux bootloaders, kernels, package management, networking, storage, namespaces, and containers
- Experience building and operating infrastructure at scale
- Comfort working closely with users
- Proactive ownership and ability to take projects from 0 to 1
- Willingness to work in person from San Francisco
- Detail-oriented approach and strong engineering judgment
