Responsibilities
- Architect and build production agentic AI solutions, including autonomous workflows, tool-calling agents, RAG pipelines, and LLM integrations.
- Set technical direction and define standards for agentic development, prompt engineering, context management, and LLM integration.
- Own the AI enablement platform, including agent skills, CI/CD automation, developer tooling, and shared libraries.
- Evaluate agent output quality and establish evaluation, observability, safety, and reliability practices.
- Partner with Solutions and product engineering teams to identify opportunities and integrate agentic workflows into software development and customer delivery processes.
- Embed with teams to build and hand off AI tooling that drives sustained adoption.
- Lead training sessions, workshops, demonstrations, office hours, documentation, and enablement programs for engineers.
- Guide senior engineers and collaborate with engineering leaders to prioritize organization-wide AI enablement opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
- 8-12 years of relevant software engineering experience with substantial .NET/C# depth.
- At least 2 years of hands-on LLM development experience, including at least 1 year architecting and building agentic AI solutions.
- Production experience shipping agentic systems used by real users; prototypes alone do not satisfy the requirement.
- Current proficiency with .NET 8 or newer, ASP.NET Core, C#, and Python.
- Experience building internal developer tools, CI/CD automation, or shared libraries for engineers.
- Experience integrating LLM APIs, including tool/function calling and streaming at production scale.
- Daily use of AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Ability to lead technical direction, guide senior engineers, and drive adoption across teams or organizations.
- Strong written communication and experience creating technical documentation and enablement materials.
- Comfort running training, demos, and office hours for engineers at all levels.
- Preferred: TypeScript/JavaScript, React, event-driven messaging, MCP, PostgreSQL, vector databases, Google Cloud, LLM evaluation and observability, agent/LLM frameworks, distributed tracing, and healthcare, HIPAA, or PHI experience.
- Preferred: Experience guiding or mentoring senior engineers and embedding with teams to assess practical AI opportunities.
