Base Salary
$100k - $125k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust backend solutions using Ruby on Rails.
- Design and implement responsive frontend interfaces using React.js/Typescript.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features on time.
- Deploy and manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the full stack.
- Maintain broad knowledge about the entire system and technologies used.
- Own systems by designing and implementing larger initiatives.
- Proactively support team members and improve processes.
- Create an impact on the team as a whole.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in full stack development.
- Strong proficiency in backend development using Ruby on Rails.
- Hands-on experience in frontend development using React.js.
- Proficiency in serverless architecture, microservices, and BFF patterns.
- Experience deploying and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker is a plus.
- Passion for learning and staying updated on emerging technologies.
- Proven track record of driving innovation and implementing solutions.
- Dedication to delivering high-quality, reliable, and scalable solutions.
- Excellent problem-solving skills across the full stack.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Willingness to travel to the Chicago office several times a month.
- Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
