Base Salary
$60k - $80k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain AWS reference architectures using services like ECS/Fargate, EKS, Lambda, RDS, and S3.
- Develop and operate GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines with staged deployment workflows and environment protection rules.
- Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform) including remote state backends and drift detection.
- Establish environments with increasing pipeline complexity and security requirements.
- Define and maintain 'lift patterns' for transitioning apps from prototype to production.
- Provision and manage AWS infrastructure and lead HA/DR design for production systems.
- Operate the observability stack leveraging AWS native and integrated tooling.
- Implement cost governance practices including tagging strategies and cost monitoring.
- Partner with Information Security on pipeline integrated controls.
- Provide onboarding support for developers preparing for production promotion.
- Maintain runbooks and incident response playbooks; participate in on-call rotation.
Requirements
- 3+ years operating production workloads in AWS environments.
- Strong experience with Terraform including IaC lifecycle and state management.
- Experience designing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Working knowledge of AWS IAM and least-privilege access design.
- Experience supporting SLAs, incident response, and on-call operations.
