Base Salary
$152k - $179k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, ship, and operate core developer-infrastructure services.
- Contribute to improvements in build and CI wall time, deploy speed, and test feedback.
- Own components end to end, from implementation through testing and monitoring.
- Write high-quality, well-tested, observable code for production.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand and address pain points.
- Participate in technical design discussions and drive work items to completion.
- Share knowledge and conduct code reviews to raise quality standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in building and operating production software.
- Solid fundamentals in distributed systems and proficiency in a language like Go.
- Track record of shipping backend or platform features with full ownership.
- Good operational instincts focusing on reliability, security, and observability.
- Clear communication skills and ability to drive projects to completion.
- Customer-focused mindset, measuring success by the impact on other engineers.
- Exposure to developer infrastructure domains like CI/CD and test infrastructure.
- Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, or containers.
- Familiarity with observability and performance tooling like Datadog.
- Ability to utilize generative AI responsibly in workflows.
