Responsibilities
- Design and build internal AI frameworks, SDKs, and shared libraries.
- Enable teams to integrate AI features with minimal friction.
- Establish standardized patterns for LLMs, embeddings, agents, and workflows.
- Build reusable components for prompt management, evaluation, observability, and safety.
- Define best practices for AI usage, cost control, and reliability.
- Evangelize AI internally through documentation, examples, and hands-on guidance.
- Prototype AI-powered features and turn them into reusable building blocks.
- Own AI tooling from experimentation through production.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs such as OpenAI and Anthropic.
- Experience with RAG pipelines, embeddings, vector databases, prompt engineering, prompt versioning, evaluation, and AI orchestration frameworks.
- Understanding of AI observability, cost monitoring, failure modes, embeddings, fine-tuning, vector search, tokenization, and evaluation methodologies.
- Experience shipping at least one LLM-powered feature to production and iterating based on telemetry or user feedback.
- Familiarity with data lakes or warehouses, feature stores, streaming or batch ETL, and AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent Python skills and experience building frameworks, platforms, or developer tooling.
- Strong understanding of APIs, services, system design, and production-grade software engineering.
- Experience with agent-based systems, tool calling, guardrails, moderation, safety checks, Docker, cloud infrastructure, CI/CD, platform teams, or enablement roles is preferred.
