Responsibilities

Define front-end architecture, technical strategy, standards, best practices, and shared design systems for scalable UI platforms.
Lead complex front-end and back-end development, API architecture, system integrations, and third-party platform integrations.
Design database schemas and optimize performance across relational and NoSQL systems, including caching and query optimization.
Drive backend performance, scalability, reliability, authentication, authorization, monitoring, and observability across production systems.
Integrate AI services into production full-stack systems using LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align technical decisions with product and business goals.
Lead code reviews and design discussions, establish engineering standards, make architectural decisions, and mentor junior and mid-level engineers.

7+ years of professional software engineering experience and experience leading complex full-stack initiatives.
Deep proficiency in React or Angular with strong JavaScript and TypeScript skills, including familiarity with Next.js.
Strong experience with state management, modern CSS frameworks, and build tooling.
Strong backend development and API architecture experience with Node.js or Python.
Strong unit, integration, and UI testing practices.
Deep expertise in relational and NoSQL databases, caching, and query optimization.
Strong experience with microservices architecture, event-driven systems, message queues, cloud platforms, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong experience integrating AI services into production full-stack systems, including LLM APIs, streaming, tool and function calling, multi-step agent flows, and RAG patterns.
Experience working with design tools and partners to deliver polished, accessible UI, including Figma.
Demonstrated technical leadership and mentoring experience, strong stakeholder communication, problem-solving ability, and sound judgment in ambiguous environments.
Demonstrable day-to-day usage and expert knowledge of AI-forward tools such as Claude and Cursor.
