Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Drive implementation of high-scale infrastructure optimized for cost, latency, and reliability.
- Partner across organizations to integrate infrastructure into foundational Google systems.
- Build developer-first solutions that maximize company-wide adoption with minimal toil.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance software solutions.
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 8 years of experience with distributed compute environments, software development, big data analytics, cloud computing, virtualization, hosted services, multi-tenant cloud infrastructures, storage systems, or content delivery networks.
- Software development experience in C/C++, C#, Java, Python, or Go.
- Preferred: experience building large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, compute technologies, storage, and hardware architecture.
- Preferred: experience with Google-scale infrastructure.
