Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain global eCommerce storefronts on Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service using Edge Delivery Services block-based architecture.
- Build interactive, responsive front-end experiences and components with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, React, and related frameworks.
- Create prototypes, wireframes, custom user journeys, checkout workflows, and document-based content workflows with pixel-level accuracy.
- Use Adobe GraphQL, API Mesh, App Builder, Commerce Events, and Adobe I/O patterns to support integrations and asynchronous user experiences.
- Integrate payment gateways, tax, shipping, and marketing services through APIs and webhooks.
- Use Adobe Experience Platform for storefront personalization and segmentation.
- Manage Adobe Commerce Cloud deployments and environments, support production releases, and perform post-release validation.
- Optimize storefronts for SEO, accessibility, compliance, performance, and cross-browser/device compatibility.
- Implement Content Security Policy and secure cookie/SameSite management for a PCI-adjacent commerce environment.
- Collaborate with back-end developers, architects, marketing, product owners, and business stakeholders; participate in code reviews and documentation.
- Troubleshoot front-end issues and contribute to enterprise platform support, including potential 24/7 on-call responsibilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or three additional years of specific eCommerce Developer experience including Magento in lieu of a degree.
- At least six years of relevant technical work experience.
- At least three years of enterprise front-end web development experience.
- At least two years of Adobe Commerce/Magento or ACCS platform experience.
- Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, including vanilla JavaScript EDS block-based development.
- Strong knowledge of React for App Builder UI extensions.
- Proficiency with GraphQL for ACCS data-layer development.
- Experience consuming or configuring federated GraphQL APIs with Adobe API Mesh.
- Experience with Adobe Commerce Cloud CLI and related deployment and environment-management tools.
- Knowledge of back-end database systems and SQL is highly desirable.
- Experience with Adobe Experience Platform for storefront personalization and segmentation is preferred.
- Enterprise experience with 24/7 on-call platform responsibilities is preferred.
- Ability to complete a background check and drug testing, travel 10–25% within the US and internationally, and work from a VSE office at least four days per week.
