Responsibilities
- Lead technical design, architecture discussions, code reviews, mentoring, and engineering best practices within Agile teams.
- Design and develop highly available, fault-tolerant, low-latency distributed systems and full-stack applications.
- Build modern web applications using React, Redux, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, and related technologies.
- Develop scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven solutions for secure, high-performing digital experiences.
- Debug complex software issues, resolve production incidents, and address performance bottlenecks.
- Support applications through production operations, continuous improvement, and the full software development lifecycle.
- Use AI-assisted development tools, autonomous coding agents, and intelligent workflows to improve productivity and quality.
- Build proofs of concept and evaluate emerging technologies, AI frameworks, and open-source solutions.
- Partner with Product, Architecture, Platform, and Engineering teams to influence technical strategy and deliver strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on UI development experience.
- Strong expertise building modern front-end applications with React, Redux, JavaScript, and related web technologies.
- Experience developing enterprise applications with Java and/or Node.js.
- Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented design, and distributed systems.
- Experience designing and building APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with NoSQL databases and distributed technologies such as Redis, Kafka, Cassandra, or Couchbase.
- Preferred experience with Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, large-scale production systems, observability, tracing, monitoring, performance optimization, Jenkins, Git, CI/CD pipelines, Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-assisted development tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
