Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible application services and establish organizational engineering standards for embedding Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Lead integration of production ML pipelines into the application layer, including optimized model serving and real-time geometry analysis.
- Define strategic direction and drive execution of the core enterprise integration across multiple products and teams.
- Develop secure ring-fenced data governance approaches that keep partner part files within the partner’s network infrastructure.
- Establish reliability, security, enterprise SLI/SLO, and multi-tenant deployment standards for partner-hosted and Xometry-hosted environments.
- Facilitate technical decisions, document architectural direction, and influence senior leadership and external partners on technology investments.
- Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development practices and collaborate across marketplace and data science teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks including React and NextJS.
- Proven experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing engineering patterns as organizational standards.
- Track record of securing endorsement for and delivering 6–12 month technical initiatives through production deployment.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and long-term technology investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Preferred experience building SaaS platforms or complex B2B integration hubs.
- Preferred experience with manufacturing, logistics, or CAD/PLM software ecosystems.
- Preferred understanding of enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, and SOC 2/ISO compliance in cloud environments.
- Preferred experience architecting large-scale ML platforms or high-frequency marketplace engines.
