Base Salary
$150k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack features covering data processing, backend services, presentation, and data visualization.
- Optimize and debug cloud-based distributed systems.
- Design and implement reusable applications, libraries, APIs, and core software components.
- Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines for large-scale telemetry, operational logs, and sensor data from distributed systems and robotics fleets.
- Deploy and scale distributed services using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with end users and teammates to address product requirements and communicate progress.
- Mentor and upskill peers and contributors across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or another technical field, or equivalent experience.
- 7+ years of professional experience delivering full-stack software solutions to end users.
- Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, C++, Go, or Rust.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or BigQuery and with Airflow-based ETL/ELT pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes in cloud-managed or self-hosted environments.
- Strong experience designing REST APIs, gRPC services, and microservice architectures.
- Working knowledge of cloud security fundamentals, secrets management, RBAC, service account governance, and network security.
- Familiarity with Git and Linux development environments.
- Robotics experience is preferred.
