Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design high-performance, extensible application services and organizational engineering patterns for embedding Xometry AI into external PLM environments.
- Lead the integration of production ML pipelines, optimized model serving, and real-time geometry analysis into the application layer.
- Establish technical direction for multiple products and lead execution of the core enterprise integration.
- Develop ring-fenced data governance approaches that keep partner part files within the partner’s network infrastructure.
- Define reliability, security, enterprise deployment, and multi-tenant management standards for partner-hosted and Xometry-hosted environments.
- Facilitate technical decisions across Xometry and serve as a primary technical contact for senior leadership and external partners.
- Mentor engineers on AI-assisted development practices and collaborate across marketplace and data science teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of professional software development experience and a history of scaling complex platforms.
- Expert-level mastery of Python, AWS infrastructure, and modern frontend frameworks including React and NextJS.
- Experience shaping technical direction across multiple teams and establishing engineering patterns as organizational standards.
- Track record of securing endorsement for and delivering 6–12 month technical initiatives to production.
- Ability to influence senior leadership and external partners on technical strategy and technology investments.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience building SaaS platforms or complex B2B integration hubs is preferred.
- Experience with manufacturing, logistics, or CAD/PLM software ecosystems is preferred.
- Understanding of enterprise data controls, dedicated tenants, and SOC2/ISO compliance in cloud environments is preferred.
- Experience architecting large-scale ML platforms or high-frequency marketplace engines is preferred.

- Base salary range of $170,000–$195,000 annually, plus annual bonus and potential equity.
