Base Salary
$156k - $186k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and support in-house simulation services for stakeholder teams including business development, mission design, operations, and ground and flight software engineering.
- Collaborate with physical-modeling experts to integrate simulation models into complete products.
- Improve simulation products based on feedback from client teams.
- Work with the Software Test team to apply simulation tools to testing scenarios.
- Contribute to work estimation and planning.
- Assist the team in achieving performance metrics.
Requirements
- B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least five years of software engineering experience in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Ability to collaborate with specialized experts on complex, cross-functional products.
- Willingness to work in novel technical domains.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience includes numerical simulation techniques, statistical analysis, Julia, Linux systems administration, Docker containers, cloud deployment environments, Kubernetes, virtual instances, Software-in-the-Loop simulation, DevOps practices, and orbital satellite operations.
