Base Salary

$156k - $186k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Build and support in-house simulation services for stakeholder teams including business development, mission design, operations, and ground and flight software engineering.
  • Collaborate with physical-modeling experts to integrate simulation models into complete products.
  • Improve simulation products based on feedback from client teams.
  • Work with the Software Test team to apply simulation tools to testing scenarios.
  • Contribute to work estimation and planning.
  • Assist the team in achieving performance metrics.

Requirements

  • B.S. or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least five years of software engineering experience in a team environment.
  • Proficiency in Python and C++.
  • Ability to collaborate with specialized experts on complex, cross-functional products.
  • Willingness to work in novel technical domains.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Preferred experience includes numerical simulation techniques, statistical analysis, Julia, Linux systems administration, Docker containers, cloud deployment environments, Kubernetes, virtual instances, Software-in-the-Loop simulation, DevOps practices, and orbital satellite operations.
