Responsibilities
- Design and develop WLAN host drivers for Qualcomm WLAN chipsets.
- Develop new WLAN features for wireless routers, access points, and gateways.
- Solve complex Wi-Fi design, system, and performance challenges.
- Collaborate with wireless LAN ODMs and OEMs globally.
- Work with hardware and firmware engineers to deliver complete end-to-end wireless LAN solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 6–8 years of experience in WLAN drivers, networking drivers, or networking/WLAN protocol development.
- Hands-on experience with the Linux kernel and Linux kernel device drivers.
- Strong C programming skills and experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Experience solving complex system issues with strong problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: master's degree in Computer Science or Electronics/Electrical Engineering.
- Preferred: knowledge of WLAN 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be standards and wireless LAN driver development.
- Preferred: knowledge of USB, MII, PCI/e, TCP, UDP, IPv4, IPv6, ARP, and DHCP.
