- Plan collision-free and time-feasible routes across shared operating spaces.
- Assign robot tasks based on fleet state, dependencies, timing constraints, and operational priorities.
- Implement storage, retrieval, continuous replanning, and recovery workflows for disrupted physical operations.
- Maintain accurate state across the digital model and physical warehouse environment.
- Improve observability into planning cycles, task execution, and system behavior.
- Design and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models for orchestration and fleet operations.
- Integrate customer warehouse workflows and WMS data into the platform.
- Collaborate with software, robotics, product, and customer-facing teams to deliver production capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of production software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping production software for search, routing, scheduling, planning, or optimization problems.
- Familiarity with multi-agent path finding, vehicle routing, constraint solving, graph search, or similar algorithmic problem spaces.
- Experience designing and safely evolving production data models or schemas.
- Hands-on experience with relational databases, especially SQL or Postgres.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting APIs used by other services, systems, or teams.
- Ability to make practical system design decisions and evaluate tradeoffs.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, identify key questions, and move problems forward independently.
- Product and technical judgment, including the ability to contribute ideas about what should be built.
- Experience with warehouse automation or AMR fleet management is preferred.
- Proficiency in Go is preferred.
