Base Salary

$75k - $128k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain large-scale workflow automation platforms for high-volume files, documents, and transactions.
  • Build systems that ingest, validate, transform, enrich, reconcile, and export data across internal and external systems.
  • Implement workflow orchestration, checkpointing, retry strategies, state management, fault recovery, and transactional integrity.
  • Automate Windows desktop applications and integrate cloud services, databases, APIs, file systems, background processes, and third-party platforms.
  • Develop solutions for distributed cloud-hosted virtual machine environments and large-scale concurrent processing.
  • Create telemetry, monitoring, logging, and diagnostic capabilities for operational resiliency.
  • Modernize legacy MVC applications and develop RESTful and GraphQL interfaces.
  • Apply AI-assisted engineering workflows and Specification Driven Development where appropriate.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.
  • At least 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
  • Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework, .NET Core, and modern .NET platforms.
  • Experience designing workflow automation, process orchestration, systems integration, queue-based architectures, event-driven systems, asynchronous processing, and distributed workloads.
  • Strong SQL and data analysis skills.
  • Experience with Azure cloud services and distributed application architectures.
  • Experience building bulk file ingestion, processing, transformation, export, ETL, and ELT workflows.
  • Experience automating Windows desktop applications in unattended or headless environments and working with virtualized Windows infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of object-oriented design, SOLID, DRY, Clean Code, design patterns, dependency injection, unit testing, automated validation, CI/CD, observability, and production monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Agentic SDLC practices, AI-assisted development tools, and Specification Driven Development.
