Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate interfaces between hardware and software, operational performance requirements, and overall system designs.
- Perform C/C++ embedded software development using existing tools.
- Contribute to requirements, software and systems architecture, design, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
- Support mission systems integration architecture and customer deployments.
- Work on complex mission computing systems involving memory systems and displays.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and other engineering disciplines.
- Travel to customer sites when required by the program.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 6 years of relevant experience, or a graduate degree and at least 4 years of related experience.
- Ten years of relevant experience may substitute for a degree.
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include an active Secret clearance, embedded development, hardware-software integration, test automation, Python, APIs/BSPs/drivers, OpenGL, C++ systems development, avionics lifecycle execution, embedded security, encryption, and safety-critical software development.
- Preferred technical knowledge includes DO-178B or later standards, Bash, Python, Intel x86, ARM, FPGA, SoC, GPP, GPU, release engineering, configuration management, debug and trace analysis, real-time operating systems, SELinux, network storage, Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand, RADIUS, and LDAP.
