QA Lead
Palo Alto NetworksResponsibilities
- Drive shift-left and automation-first quality practices.
- Plan, define, and execute tests for team QA activities and out-of-the-box connectors.
- Validate provisioning, reconciliation, entitlement synchronization, and joiner-mover-leaver identity scenarios.
- Lead API and contract testing, including schema validation, error handling, and throttling scenarios.
- Design and build automation frameworks, test utilities, and mocks or simulations for external systems.
- Test scale, performance, resilience, bulk operations, retries, partial failures, and outages.
- Ensure data integrity and mapping accuracy across source and target systems.
- Integrate QA into CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows with quality gates.
- Perform deep debugging, log analysis, root-cause investigation, and defect tracking.
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and platform teams to improve quality processes.
Requirements
- 10+ years of QA experience with a strong focus on API and integration testing.
- 5+ years of experience as a QA Lead.
- Hands-on test automation experience using Robot, Python, or similar tools.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms, distributed systems, and on-premise systems.
- Strong understanding of API testing, data validation, and system-level testing.
- Knowledge of QA methodologies, SDLC, and Agile practices.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, work independently, and collaborate cross-functionally.
- Fluent English communication skills.
- Preferred experience in IGA, IAM, or identity security.
- Preferred familiarity with SCIM, LDAP, OAuth, and SAML.
- Preferred experience testing connectors, middleware, or integration platforms.
- Preferred exposure to AWS, CI/CD tools, and Datadog.
