Responsibilities
- Organize and execute automated and manual tests for industrial automation software and products.
- Design scalable automation frameworks and integrate them with Azure DevOps CI/CD workflows.
- Perform integration, API, interface, UX, and virtual-platform testing.
- Manage test cases, test environments, and defect tracking through Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product development, customer support, training, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a point of contact for product-related issues and maintenance within R&D, software development, and product engineering.
- Apply AI-assisted and generative AI approaches to test case creation, optimization, and defect prediction.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technology with 60% or above and exposure to DCS, PLC, or SCADA systems.
- At least 6 years of experience in test automation and integration testing.
- Industrial automation experience with DCS/SCADA systems such as Edgenius, 800xA, or Symphony+.
- Understanding of electrical devices, controller interfacing, and OPCUA, MODBUS, and IEC61850 communication protocols.
- Advanced Python programming skills and practical experience with Java, C#, PowerShell, and Groovy.
- Experience with Robot Framework, Selenium, Playwright, REST-Assured, Karate, Postman, Newman, ReadyAPI, and JMeter.
- Experience with API and interface testing involving REST, FTP, TCP/IP, and OPC-UA/DA.
- Experience designing BDD, TDD, or hybrid automation frameworks and using TestNG/JUnit with Maven/Ant.
- Experience with Azure DevOps and virtual platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Azure.
- Knowledge of UX testing, AI-assisted or AI-driven testing, and generative AI applications for testing.
- Strong communication, stakeholder relations, analytical problem-solving, leadership, and delivery skills.
