Responsibilities
- Maintain close partnerships with frontline Service Delivery and Service Assurance teams through regular operational shadowing.
- Develop business cases and process flow documentation for automation initiatives.
- Translate complex operational processes into development-ready technical requirements and support requirements handoffs.
- Research Agentic AI, large language models, RAG architecture, and operations automation trends.
- Develop technical specifications, algorithms, prototypes, evaluation plans, and formal recommendations.
- Evaluate and test internal and external solutions, lead case studies, and report insights for product improvements.
- Support automation portfolio and platform strategy, documentation, risk tracking, dependencies, and value realization.
- Represent the technical team in cross-functional collaborations and contribute to APIs, patents, and other intellectual property.
- Mentor junior researchers and provide technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
- Work nights, weekends, and variable schedules as required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience.
- Coursework and experience or extensive related professional experience may be considered in place of the stated degree.
- Ability to independently solve complex technical problems and exercise judgment in significant matters.
- Experience developing technical requirements, specifications, prototypes, documentation, and solution evaluations.
- Ability to collaborate with frontline operations, development teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Regular, consistent, and punctual attendance; ability to work variable schedules, including nights and weekends.
