Responsibilities
- Own the frontend technical direction for banking onboarding, product surfaces, and unified banking and payments experiences.
- Design and build a Banking frontend SDK with hooks and UI components for external integration, including documentation and framework integrations.
- Shape the shared component library and micro-frontend approach across product surfaces.
- Define frontend coding, component, performance, accessibility, and correctness standards.
- Own frontend observability and test automation to identify regressions before customers encounter them.
- Mentor frontend engineers, contribute to hiring standards, and lead initiatives across teams without formal authority.
- Partner with product and design to turn complex banking flows into coherent user experiences.
Requirements
- Significant experience as a senior or staff-level frontend engineer owning complex production web applications.
- Deep expertise in frontend architecture, component and design systems, and state management at scale.
- Strong understanding of frontend performance, accessibility, and correctness.
- Fluency in a modern TypeScript and React frontend stack.
- Excellent technical communication and ability to lead cross-team initiatives without formal authority.
- Experience designing and shipping SDKs or libraries for external consumption is preferred.
- Experience with micro-frontends or Module Federation is preferred.
- Experience with contract-driven frontend development, generated types, or backend-for-frontend systems is preferred.
- Experience owning a multi-surface design system or component library is preferred.
- Experience building frontend observability and end-to-end test automation is preferred.
