Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end product solutions integrating Generative AI and Machine Learning into life sciences R&D platforms.
- Define scalable architectures covering analytics pipelines, validation frameworks, deployment approaches, and complex scientific workflows.
- Lead model lifecycle design across data ingestion, feature engineering, training, evaluation, monitoring, and traceability.
- Create verification, validation, and test execution strategies covering functionality, performance, usability, compliance, robustness, and scenario coverage.
- Collaborate with data science, software engineering, product management, domain, and quality teams on system and component architecture.
- Evaluate AI and data technologies for scalability, interoperability, security, and long-term maintainability.
- Develop architectural diagrams, data flows, validation plans, and other traceable technical documentation.
- Mentor senior technical contributors and identify AI-driven automation opportunities for scientific research.
- Ensure validation and verification activities align with regulatory expectations, internal quality frameworks, patient safety, and data integrity.
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing and delivering complex enterprise product architectures incorporating Generative AI and Machine Learning.
- Strong hands-on experience with validation test execution, including test planning, test case design, coverage analysis, and defect management for software and AI components.
- Deep familiarity with life sciences R&D verification and validation practices, including risk-based testing, traceability, and scientific-system documentation.
- Advanced knowledge of data engineering, model evaluation, and AI performance optimization.
- Proven ability to collaborate with data scientists, engineers, domain experts, and quality professionals.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for explaining architectural decisions, AI constraints, and validation strategies.
- Experience working in hybrid environments with modern collaboration tools and distributed design and implementation processes.
