Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support and maintenance for Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Perform administration, design, performance analysis, and troubleshooting.
- Monitor database events and optimize system performance.
- Work with engineering teams to automate database procedures.
- Design and implement backup and disaster recovery systems.
- Participate in on-call rotations as part of a follow-the-sun team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of Database Administration experience with relational databases.
- Extensive experience with MS SQL 2019 or above.
- Proficiency in performance tuning and optimization.
- Experience in OLTP database environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
