Responsibilities
- Build core machine learning systems for a proactive, long-horizon AI product.
- Own data preparation, training, evaluation, inference, and iteration across the full machine learning lifecycle.
- Translate research ideas into reliable production systems.
- Debug model failures and system issues using production signals.
- Optimize systems under latency, cost, reliability, and safety constraints.
- Collaborate with research, product, and engineering teams.
- Mentor and review the work of other machine learning engineers.
- Ensure training, inference, and data pipelines are robust, scalable, and maintainable.
Requirements
- Experience building and shipping machine learning systems used by real users.
- Strong understanding of how modern machine learning models behave in production.
- Ability to write production-quality code and think in systems rather than scripts.
- Ability to independently drive work through completion.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate clearly, and work iteratively.
