Responsibilities
- Design and build end-to-end AI solutions covering data ingestion, feature engineering, model training and inference, APIs, web applications, and observability.
- Develop scalable full-stack AI applications using modern web technologies, cloud-native platforms, and distributed computing frameworks.
- Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning, deep learning, statistical, descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive analytics solutions.
- Integrate LLMs and agentic AI capabilities into production manufacturing and engineering workflows.
- Lead integration of robotics platforms, autonomous mobile robots, tool automation systems, control systems, and the Micron MES ecosystem.
- Deploy and scale production AI applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift across global manufacturing environments.
- Drive CI/CD, automated releases, monitoring, model evaluation, drift detection, feedback loops, testing, debugging, documentation, security, governance, validation, auditability, and compliance.
- Optimize application and model performance, scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency while mentoring engineers and conducting code reviews.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, data science, machine learning, statistics, or a related field, with equivalent industry experience accepted.
- At least 5 years of experience building and shipping production software, machine learning, or AI applications.
- Experience developing and deploying web applications, APIs, machine learning models, or data-driven solutions.
- Experience with cloud platforms, modern software engineering practices, and large-scale data environments.
- Strong Python and modern JavaScript/TypeScript programming skills, plus strong SQL proficiency.
- Experience with machine learning, deep learning, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, cloud platforms, and CI/CD development practices.
- Working knowledge of prompt engineering, Retrieval-Augmented Generation, LLM integration, agentic AI, model evaluation, and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience with large-scale computing frameworks, distributed data processing, or enterprise-scale AI platforms.
- Preferred experience includes semiconductor manufacturing, industrial automation, smart manufacturing, MLOps, model deployment, enterprise AI applications, MES, Industrial IoT, or equipment automation systems.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, learning, and adaptability skills.
