Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java/J2EE, Spring/Spring Boot, React, and SQL databases.
- Perform new development, production support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications.
- Identify and resolve technical impediments with Agile team members.
- Support production incidents and provide expert technical input on new technologies and design techniques.
- Drive clean, reusable design and reduce duplicate processes and code.
- Communicate with project managers and review or approve IT team documentation and diagrams.
- Manage BAU/RTB work queues and ensure timely delivery.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring or Spring Boot, and React.
- Strong knowledge of Git and RESTful web services.
- Experience with project estimating and planning and the full software development lifecycle.
- Desired experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, Redux or Context API, Jenkins, and Maven or Gradle.
- Public sector or government project experience is preferred.
- Availability to commence at short notice.
