Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and test software solutions according to design requirements and coding standards.
- Assist with software integration, verification, debugging, and troubleshooting activities.
- Document code, processes, workflows, and technical records.
- Support automated testing and develop scripts or test tools where applicable.
- Collaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Participate in team planning, code reviews, and iterative development activities.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical or scientific discipline.
- Must be enrolled at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution and eligible for a co-op work term during the specified period.
- Preferred experience includes C#, Java, Kotlin, Python, or C++.
- Preferred familiarity with Git, software testing frameworks, automated testing tools, unit testing, and collaborative software development.
- Preferred experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Maven, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, Terraform, OpenWebUI, Ollama, Tika, Android development, distributed systems, databases, networking, Make, Linux, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada and able to obtain and maintain applicable Canadian government security clearance and other required security assessments.
