Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and debug embedded software in C/C++ on Linux-based systems.
  • Participate in requirements analysis, software design reviews, and code reviews.
  • Develop, document, and execute unit-level and system-level test cases.
  • Troubleshoot low-level software issues, including hardware–software interactions.
  • Follow established software development processes and collaborate in a team environment.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering co-op program at a recognized Canadian post-secondary institution.
  • Experience programming in C and/or C++.
  • Experience with embedded Linux software development.
  • Familiarity with Git or other version control systems.
  • Exposure to networking concepts or low-level system software.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Must be eligible to complete a background check.
