Responsibilities

  • Develop embedded C firmware for controlling DSP hardware.
  • Develop C and Python test code for utilities, GUIs, regression testing, and simulation infrastructure.
  • Take features from concept and design through review, implementation, testing, and customer release.
  • Work on mission-critical features for cloud customers.
  • Debug hardware/software issues, determine root causes, and track bug resolution with Jira tickets.

Requirements

  • Must be currently pursuing a BS degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Must have at least 1 year of related coursework.
  • Strong programming skills in C and Python are preferred.
  • Knowledge of Git, Linux, makefiles, GDB, IDEs, and Bash is a plus.
  • Understanding of software development workflows, issue tracking, source control, code reviews, continuous integration, and regression testing is preferred.
  • Understanding of computer and processor architecture, processor interactions with memory and peripherals, and networking fundamentals from the OSI model through the PHY and data link levels is preferred.
  • Experience with MCU embedded processor environments is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor and the ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code is a strong plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, verbal communication, and written communication skills in English are preferred.
