Base Salary
$120k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Produce architectural diagrams, documentation, and implementation plans.
- Follow company architecture guidelines and industry best practices for SaaS and on-premises software.
- Write software across the frontend, backend, and database layers.
- Develop meaningful unit, integration, and functional automated tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, customer success, and other cross-functional teams.
- Provide peer review and guidance to other engineers.
- Adhere to quality, security, and architecture standards.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
- At least five years of individual-contributor software development experience is required.
- Expertise in .NET and/or Java is required; Spring Boot experience is a major plus.
- Experience with React, Angular, or other modern JavaScript frameworks is required.
- Experience writing and documenting public and private APIs is required.
- Experience with Amazon Web Services and Infrastructure as Code is required.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and Postgres is required.
- Experience with OpenSearch or Redshift is a major plus.
- Strong understanding of web development frameworks and architectures is required.
- CJIS compliance experience is highly preferred.
- Background in public safety, emergency communications, or related fields is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-driven platforms and their security considerations is preferred.
- Must pass FBI fingerprint and background checks in multiple states.
