Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Develop reliable flight software controlling spacecraft, satellite buses, and reentry capsules throughout entire missions.
- Write structured bare-metal, RTOS-based, or Linux-based C++ software for embedded processors.
- Own software design, development, testing, and integration.
- Scope projects, capture requirements, and perform initial design trades for open-ended problems.
- Ensure software quality and performance through testing, verification, and validation.
- Collaborate with teammates to communicate and solve problems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, engineering, or equivalent technical experience in safety-critical software.
- At least five years of experience developing spacecraft or similar safety-critical software.
- Experience developing in C++ and strong understanding of C++ language concepts.
- Preferred: end-to-end experience building and launching a spacecraft.
- Preferred: experience developing and testing real-time embedded systems and safety-critical software, especially for aerospace applications.
- Preferred: experience with CCSDS telemetry and telecommand systems and the F' or cFS framework.
- Preferred: experience with Python or Rust.
- Preferred: knowledge of basic analog and digital electronics.
- Preferred: familiarity with SPI, I2C, CAN, and EtherCAT.
