Responsibilities
- Define architecture for radio firmware and driver subsystems.
- Lead cross-functional efforts delivering complex Wi-Fi features.
- Drive system-level design across firmware, driver, and networking layers.
- Coordinate roadmap alignment and technical issue resolution with chipset vendors.
- Guide debugging of complex wireless system issues.
- Mentor engineers and influence engineering practices across teams.
- Drive adoption of AI-assisted development practices.
Requirements
- BE/BTech with 10+ years of experience or ME/MTech with 8+ years of experience in wireless systems or embedded software.
- Deep expertise in 802.11 protocols and wireless system design.
- Strong understanding of firmware, drivers, and system architecture.
- Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives and influence architecture and technical direction.
- Strong debugging and system-level problem-solving skills.
- Preferred: upstream driver contributions, deep chipset-vendor experience, and knowledge of wireless performance tuning and RF systems.
