Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end lifecycle of central cloud-based and on-premises development platforms.
Administer Jira, Confluence, and the Atlassian Cloud platform, including workflows, permissions, plugins, governance, and content architecture.
Design configuration-driven automation and CI/CD pipelines using JSON, YAML, and Groovy.
Manage GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and related development toolchains.
Drive developer experience improvements through platform automation, self-service capabilities, and AI/GenAI integration.
Manage platform roadmaps, releases, licensing, and cost control.
Partner consultatively with development teams, IT security, enterprise architecture, procurement, and external vendors.
Contribute to standardizing and scaling software development processes across the ZEISS Group.
Address cloud and platform architecture, DevOps, enterprise security, compliance, IAM, audit readiness, and data protection requirements.

Advanced Jira experience, including workflow design, automation, governance, administration, project schemes, permission structures, and enterprise process optimization.
Hands-on Confluence experience, including add-on and plugin evaluation, configuration, governance, content management, and collaboration architecture.
Strong proficiency in JSON, YAML, and Groovy for automation and pipeline design.
Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise, Azure DevOps, and modern CI/CD toolchains.
Solid understanding of cloud and platform architecture, DevOps principles, developer experience, and enterprise security and governance.
Experience working with diverse stakeholders at both operational and strategic levels.
A university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or a comparable IT-related qualification.
Structured, proactive, and self-driven working style with a focus on value and usability.
