Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Actively code, review code, troubleshoot issues, and establish strong coding patterns and designs.
- Own the design and delivery of features from problem definition through production with substantial independence.
- Build AI-powered features using LLMs, retrieval, search, evaluations, and guardrails.
- Lead and mentor engineers through guidance, code reviews, and technical example-setting.
- Own testing and reliability for shipped software while meeting customer expectations and business timelines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of software development experience with demonstrated ownership and contribution to team direction.
- Strong full-stack skills involving backend services, frontend applications, APIs, databases, and search systems, or comparable experience with another modern stack.
- Hands-on experience building AI-powered product features involving LLM applications, retrieval-augmented generation, vector search, or search relevance.
- Strong execution, debugging, communication, and unit and integration testing skills.
- Preferred experience with multimodal image and text embeddings, search, LangGraph, LangChain, model fine-tuning or adaptation, and e-commerce or marketplace products.
