M365 Front-end Developer, Web Publisher

Responsibilities

  • Provide development, operations, and maintenance support for SharePoint Online intranet environments.
  • Support requirements gathering, documentation, and customer demonstrations.
  • Publish and maintain content on public-facing and intranet websites.
  • Provide testing support for monthly release deployments, including unit, regression, and accessibility testing.
  • Support short turnaround publishing requests in a deadline-driven environment.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours emergency publishing support.
  • Troubleshoot site issues in coordination with platform engineers and Microsoft support.
  • Monitor Microsoft Message Center for platform updates and changes.
  • Define and validate acceptance criteria for website features.
  • Provide solution recommendations during team and client meetings.
  • Collaborate with external agencies on U.S. Web Design System features and releases.
  • Maintain compliance with Section 508 accessibility requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 1–3 years of experience designing, building, maintaining, and publishing websites.
  • 3–5 years of experience with Microsoft 365 platforms, including SharePoint Online.
  • Experience with responsive website design and Section 508 accessibility standards.
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and technical requirements.
  • Experience publishing content to public and intranet sites, preferably with Drupal.
  • Experience supporting structured testing activities.
  • Proficiency with HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online and Power Platform.
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work the required Eastern Time Zone schedule.
  • Familiarity with U.S. Web Design System.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite for image editing.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
