Responsibilities
- Design, develop and implement solution architecture for software projects on top of YugaByte DB.
- Help end-users evaluate YugaByte DB and other open-source technologies.
- Advise users on app architecture, deployment paradigms, and ecosystem integration best practices.
- Work with community users to understand their needs and develop reusable tools.
- Collaborate with the sales team to create libraries and best practices for successful Proof-of-Value.
- Analyze client operations to determine database structural requirements.
- Develop database solutions by designing Yugabyte DB's physical structure and functional capabilities.
- Install the Yugabyte database platform and document installation actions.
- Maintain database performance by identifying development problems and completing maintenance.
- Provide database support by coding utilities and resolving user questions.
- Participate in educational opportunities to update job knowledge.
Requirements
- B.A. / B.S. or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Working knowledge of modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Node.js, C/C++, and C#.
- Ability to model use cases on SQL databases.
- Strong documentation skills.
- Good presentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
- Candidates must be based in India.
