Responsibilities
- Design, build and maintain the platform for internal and customer-facing intelligent services on SingleStore.
- Lead complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from conception to deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, customers, and engineers to deliver a high-quality experience.
- Drive engineering standards and champion best practices in system design, code quality, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Share on-call responsibilities and improve the reliability, security, and cost-efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on a SaaS product.
- Experience with distributed systems and programming languages such as Golang, Python, or Rust.
- Experience with Kubernetes and/or containerized services.
- Intellectual curiosity about investigating issues impacting business metrics.
- Passion for building high-quality, maintainable products in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and a passion for mentoring peers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
