Responsibilities
- Integrate Grid Orchestration Software (GridOS) solutions and perform comprehensive system testing.
- Lead cross-functional incident response and conduct post-incident reviews to reduce outage frequency and severity.
- Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting platforms.
- Partner with software teams to improve resilience, release quality, and operational readiness.
- Drive disaster recovery, capacity planning, system architecture, and operational improvements.
- Develop scripts and workflows to reduce manual operational effort.
- Mentor team members and serve as a technical resource.
- Resolve customer technical issues, provide updates, and manage on-call responsibilities.
- Travel less than 5% typically, with potentially higher travel depending on the project.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with at least six years of relevant experience.
- At least three years of experience in site reliability engineering, DevOps, systems engineering, or software engineering.
- Proficiency with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix system administration, networking fundamentals, distributed systems, monitoring and observability, CI/CD tools, and database reliability, backup, and recovery.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and performance-under-pressure skills.
