Responsibilities
- Lead the design and operationalization of container infrastructure using Kubernetes.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Drive the adoption of Infrastructure as Code principles using Terraform.
- Develop application-level knowledge to inform infrastructure requirements for various teams.
- Perform advanced monitoring and troubleshooting of infrastructure and application stacks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex application or infrastructure issues.
- Serve as a primary on-call responder for critical incidents.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in the SRE/DevOps/Systems Engineer field.
- Expert-level understanding of Cloud Infrastructure fundamentals, preferably AWS.
- Exceptional programming/scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash.
- Broad expertise with UNIX/BSD/Linux internals, particularly Ubuntu.
- Extensive containerization experience with Kubernetes.
- Proficient in monitoring, logging, and alerting tools for observability.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration.
