Responsibilities
- Shape product roadmaps during global sprints held every six months.
- Design and implement high-quality, resilient, and performant software serving potentially millions of users.
- Build mastery in programming languages and Linux system knowledge.
- Engage with users and the open source community through code reviews and issue trackers.
- Respond to customer issues and develop an understanding of enterprise requirements.
- Develop secure software design and implementation practices.
Requirements
- Be a 2025 or 2026 graduate with an exceptional academic record from high school and university.
- Hold an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or another STEM discipline with programming courses.
- Be able to start delivering high-quality code in Python, Rust, C/C++, Golang, JavaScript, or Java.
- Have experience with Ubuntu or another Linux distribution.
- Have personal technology or software engineering projects beyond the curriculum.
- Demonstrate strong results orientation, organization, accountability, curiosity, flexibility, and interpersonal skills.
- Have professional written and spoken English.
- Be able to travel internationally twice a year for company events lasting up to two weeks.
- Preferred qualifications include upstream open source contributions and packaging or Linux distribution contributions involving Debian, Fedora, Arch, or Nix.
