Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction of the development team and support developers with daily technical challenges.
- Participate in architecture decisions, solution design, code reviews, and the promotion of engineering best practices.
- Ensure the quality, maintainability, performance, and security of software developments.
- Estimate technical work, maintain the technical backlog with Product Owners, and identify and escalate technical risks.
- Diagnose and resolve complex production incidents and occasionally develop highly complex features or components.
- Mentor developers, support their skills development, and contribute to cross-functional and continuous-improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Higher education in computer science or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of professional experience, excluding internships and apprenticeships.
- Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot and good knowledge of React.
- Previous experience as a Lead Tech, Tech Lead, or technical reference with a genuine team-support and mentoring dimension.
- Ability to challenge solutions, perform code reviews, address complex technical issues, and support developer progression.
- Strong communication, knowledge-sharing, escalation, and collaboration skills.
