Responsibilities
- Design and implement multi-cloud security controls across Coupa's cloud environment.
- Build policy as code and IaC security guardrails integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
- Harden containerized workloads and Kubernetes clusters.
- Conduct vulnerability analysis of application packages and third-party dependencies.
- Design and implement remediations for identified vulnerabilities.
- Support incident response and forensics as a technical contributor.
- Partner with the Risk & Compliance team for audit frameworks.
- Mentor other security engineers and review their designs.
- Participate in the on-call/incident rotation.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in security engineering or penetration testing.
- Practical experience with cloud security fundamentals (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Strong scripting/automation skills in Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
- Experience with dependency/container vulnerability scanning tools.
- Working knowledge of compliance frameworks like SOC 2 and ISO 27001.
- Critical thinking and root-cause analysis skills.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP or AWS/GCP security certifications are a plus.
