Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and deploy scalable and maintainable backend services using C# and the .NET framework.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Work with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and other database technologies for data storage and retrieval.
- Write clean, documented code and participate in code reviews following architectural and coding standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to improvements in development processes and tools and stay current with emerging technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a .NET Backend Developer.
- Strong proficiency in C# and the .NET framework, including .NET Core and .NET 5+.
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
- Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server and PostgreSQL and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework Core.
- Familiarity with RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving, attention to detail, independent working, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Spanish.
