Responsibilities
- Analyze, design, develop, implement, test, and support applications and databases, including third-party integrations.
- Build AWS Step Functions and Glue jobs and deliver cloud-native backend and data solutions.
- Translate technical specifications into code for complex projects and implement automated testing support.
- Optimize backend systems for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
- Integrate data sources, APIs, and services to improve data flow and system efficiency.
- Maintain backend architecture and logic documentation and collaborate with front-end teams on backend interfaces.
- Apply security, data-protection, resilience, and enterprise development standards.
- Promote code through development, test, and production environments and provide follow-up production support.
- Mentor less-experienced staff, resolve elevated issues, and participate in design, code, and test inspections.
- Communicate technical issues with cross-functional teams and comply with information technology and information security policies.
Requirements
- Experience with AWS Lambda, Step Functions, Glue, S3, IAM, CloudFormation, and serverless architectures.
- Strong TypeScript and Python development experience.
- Basic Angular and front-end development experience.
- SQL development and database design experience.
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines, and cloud-native data processing solutions.
- Experience using GitHub for source control and CI/CD practices.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and production support skills.
- Experience working in Agile environments using Jira and Confluence.
- AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification or higher.
- Experience with Databricks.
