Responsibilities

  • Lead contributions to microservices planning, design, and development.
  • Build and maintain full-stack applications and services using Angular, Java, and PCF.
  • Deliver secure, high-quality software that operates at scale.
  • Perform code reviews and retrospectives and approve pull requests using Git.
  • Collaborate with architects, software engineers, test engineers, TPMs, and PM-Ts.
  • Coordinate with DevOps on build pipeline design and maintenance.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to software engineers.
  • Apply 12-factor application design principles and Mastercard engineering governance requirements.

Requirements

  • Strong foundation in computer science fundamentals, web applications, and microservices-based software architecture.
  • Deep understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks such as Angular.
  • Deep experience building applications with Java and PCF.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL or Oracle and solutions operating at massive scale.
  • Experience with automated testing and releasing software through continuous delivery using Git.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, pursue continuous learning, and mentor software engineers.
