Responsibilities
- Collaborate across the organization to translate business priorities and requirements into shipped features and technical specifications.
- Design and develop clean, efficient, scalable, secure, maintainable, and well-documented software independently.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues.
- Drive continuous improvement of development processes, tools, and operational excellence.
- Mentor and guide junior software engineers.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and advocate for appropriate adoption.
- Contribute to engineering innovation, technology adoption, and quality.
- Build software using AI-driven UX, agents, and workflow automation.
Requirements
- BA/BS in a computer-science-related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 6-9 years of professional experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, data structures, database concepts, algorithms, observability concepts, and GraphQL APIs.
- Experience working across the stack and shipping features end-to-end.
- Demonstrated experience working with customers to improve product experiences.
- Experience building software using AI-driven UX, agents, and workflow automation.
- Knowledge of Kafka and relational database management systems, preferably Postgres, is preferred.
- Experience with Effect and Drizzle is preferred.
- Experience building software using event-driven architecture is highly desirable.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, and ambiguous environment.
