Responsibilities
- Analyse reported software bugs, seek assistance when needed, implement fixes, write or update tests, and submit pull requests for peer review.
- Communicate bug-fixing progress, timeframes, roadblocks, and delays to the Customer Success Support team.
- Participate in feature kick-off meetings, break features into work items, and identify tasks within user stories.
- Develop full-stack web features based on user stories and troubleshoot code until it is ready for testing.
- Develop functional, unit, and end-to-end tests for feature and bug-fix code.
- Work with QA and Testers to complete testing and resolve issues before final review.
- Demonstrate new functionality, complete technical documentation, and support releases through production/GA.
- Follow team and wider PDG software quality standards, provide project updates, comply with internal policies, and support less experienced developers when appropriate.
Requirements
- Experience level is indicated as Intermediate in the job title.
- Ability to analyse software issues, develop code changes, troubleshoot iteratively, and work with technical experts.
- Ability to write and maintain functional, unit, and end-to-end tests and collaborate with QA or Testers.
- Ability to decompose features into epics, features, user stories, and tasks and contribute to feature planning.
- Ability to communicate progress clearly and follow software quality, review, documentation, and release processes.
- Ability to provide support to less experienced developers within areas of expertise.
