Responsibilities
- Develop applications that meet functional and non-functional requirements.
- Design and develop Snowflake-based components and individual programs.
- Create unit tests and follow software design and coding standards.
- Maintain system documentation and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Provide production support for applications as needed.
- Collaborate with architects, product managers, project managers, subject matter experts, business partners, and end users.
- Participate in planning, analysis, design, development, and testing across the SDLC.
- Contribute to continuous integration, continuous delivery, and project-specific software development practices.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience developing applications with Snowflake procedures, functions, UDFs, streams, external tables, and Snowpipe.
- Strong SQL and Snowflake database expertise; PostgreSQL exposure is a plus.
- Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Jenkins, and Jira.
- Working knowledge of AWS services including S3, SQS, EC2, KMS, and RDS.
- Familiarity with Python and Shell scripting is a plus.
- Experience across multiple phases of the System Development Life Cycle.
- Knowledge of Agile development practices.
- Exposure to the AI tools Kiro and Apiiro.
