Responsibilities
- Configure and deploy AWS and Azure cloud environments, including automated scaling of microservices, Kubernetes clusters, and infrastructure.
- Design and manage secure CI/CD pipelines with integrated security scanning and GitOps deployment workflows.
- Build infrastructure as code and deploy secure Kubernetes workloads across C2E multi-cloud environments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize cloud resources, performance, costs, logging, and observability.
- Apply DoD cybersecurity policies and frameworks, perform system hardening and vulnerability scans, and automate remediation.
- Collaborate with government, mission partners, and SAIC teams while producing architecture, pipeline, and technical documentation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active TS/SCI clearance are required.
- A bachelor’s degree with 9+ years, master’s degree with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years of related experience is required; equivalent years of experience may substitute for the degree.
- At least 5 years of cloud engineering or hybrid cloud experience and experience with C2E cloud platforms, including AWS, are required.
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, CI/CD tooling, and DevSecOps security tools is required.
- Knowledge of RMF, STIGs, SCAP compliance, secure code development, and vulnerability remediation is required.
- Current DoD 8140 System Administrator intermediate certification, such as Security+ CE or greater, is required.
- Preferred qualifications include AWS Solutions Architect or AWS DevOps Engineer Professional, CKA or CKS, and CDP or equivalent certifications.
- Experience with Python or Bash, cross-domain solutions, on-premises-to-cloud integration, OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, and Elastic Stack is preferred.
